Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check necks of radical and conrod bearings of a bent shaft for lack of wear and development. Check lubricant openings of a bent shaft for lack of a contamination.
  2. Measure by a micrometer diameters of necks of a bent shaft in two opposite directions. With conicity or ovality to a pereshlifuyta a bent shaft.

Diameter of radical necks:

- l engines 1,8 and 2,0: 57 mm;

Inserts of conrod and radical bearings

Check connecting and radical rods for lack of local corrosion, development and other damages. If necessary, replace inserts.

Measurement of a gap of radical and conrod bearings

For measurement of a gap of radical and conrod bearings measure diameters of necks of a bent shaft and the corresponding internal diameters of bearings.

The size of a gap is a difference between the internal diameter of the bearing and the corresponding diameter of a neck of a bent shaft.

Gap of radical bearings:

- l engines 1,8 and 2,0: 0,028–0,048 mm;
- engines of 1,6 l: No. 1, 2, 4, 5: 0,022–0,040 mm;
- No. 3: 0,028–0,046 mm.

Gap of conrod bearings:

- l engines 1,8 and 2,0: 0,024–0,044 mm;
- engines of 1,6 l: 0,018–0,036 mm.

Oil sealing rings

Check lobbies and back oil sealing rings for absence of damage or wear of working edges. With any defects replace a sealing ring.

Covers of bearings

After installation of covers of bearings turn a bent shaft and be convinced that it rotates easily and smoothly, and its axial side play corresponds to the values given in the specification.

Axial side play of a bent shaft: 0,06–0,26 mm.
Maximum permissible axial side play of a bent shaft: 0,30 mm.

Rotor of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a rotor of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft.
  2. Check a rotor of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft for absence of damage, cracks and wear and replace if it is necessary.
  1. Check a gap between a rotor of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft and the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft. A gap between a rotor of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft and the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft: 0,5–1,1 mm.
  1. Measure depth of installation of the sensor, i.e. distance from the top part of teeths of a rotor of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft to outer side of a cover.
  2. Calculate a difference between length of the sensor of an angle of rotation of a bent shaft and depth of its installation.

Choice of inserts of radical bearings of the engine of 1,6 l

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check an opening size code for a bent shaft in the block of cylinders.

Write down an alphabetic code of the size of an opening for a bent shaft in the block of cylinders. The reading order – from left to right, at the same time the first code corresponds to the size of a forward opening in the block of cylinders.

  1. Check a code of the size of diameter of a neck of a bent shaft.

Write down the alphabetic code of the size of diameter of a neck of a bent shaft located on a counterbalance of a bent shaft. The reading order – from left to right, at the same time the first code corresponds to the size of a forward neck of a bent shaft.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Install the top inserts of radical bearings on the block of cylinders of the engine. At repeated installation of inserts establish them on the same place in which they were before removal.
  2. Before installation of a bent shaft apply a thin film of pure engine oil on all surfaces of sliding. Install a bent shaft on inserts of radical bearings in the block of cylinders.
  3. Establish the remained inserts of radical bearings in covers of radical bearings of a bent shaft. According to marking establish covers of radical bearings of a bent shaft, at the same time the arrow on each cover has to be directed to a pulley of a bent shaft. In a certain sequence for 2 or 3 stages tighten bolts of fastening of covers of radical bearings of a bent shaft in the following order: central, No. 2, No. 4, forward and back.

Inhaling moment:

Covers of radical bearings:

- l engines 1,8 and 2,0: 27–33 N • tighten m on a corner (60-65) °;
- engines of 1,6 l: 55–60 N • m.

Covers of conrod bearings:

- l engines 1,8 and 2,0: 50–53 N • m;
- engines of 1,6 l: 32–35 N • m.

  1. Turn a bent shaft and check that it rotates easily and smoothly. The probe inserted between a persistent half ring and a bent shaft check an axial side play of a bent shaft.

Axial side play of a bent shaft:

- l engines 1,8 and 2,0: 0,06–0,260 mm;
- engines of 1,6 l: 0,05–0,175 mm.

Axial side play of a rod: 0,10 – 0,25 mm.

  1. Grease an external surface of a new back sealing ring with engine oil. Establish by the special tool 09231-22000 a sealing ring against the stop in a nest of a back cover.
  1. Establish a cover of a sealing ring, laying and tighten bolts. At installation grease working edges and an external surface of a sealing ring with pure engine oil.
  2. Establish covers of rods.
  3. Establish a flywheel, a forward cover, the oil pallet and a gear belt.
