- Check a belt tension, having pressured him by effort 98 N (10 kg) in the place located on identical removal from pulleys and measure a belt deflection. Belt deflection: 6–9 mm.

- If the tension of a belt does not correspond to demanded, adjust it as follows.
1) Weaken a bolt of adjustment of a tension of a belt of the drive of the pump of the power steering.

|
|
2) The mount inserted between an arm and the pump adjust a belt tension so that the deflection of a belt was in admissible limits.
|
3) Tighten a bolt of adjustment of a tension of a belt of the drive of the pump of the power steering.
4) Check tension of a belt and, if necessary, repeat adjustment.

Turn a bent shaft of the engine and repeatedly check a belt tension. |
