14:17. Pump of the amplifier of steering

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a pressure head hose from the pump.
  1. Disconnect the soaking-up filter from the socket of absorption and merge liquid in a container.
  1. Weaken bolts of fastening of the pump and take off a driving belt.
  1. Turn out a bolt of adjustment of a tension of a belt.
  1. Take off a driving belt from a pulley of the pump of the amplifier of steering.
  1. Turn out bolts of fastening of the pump and a bolt of adjustment of a tension of a belt.
  1. Remove the pump of the amplifier of steering.

Be careful as liquid will follow from the pump.

  1. Remove an arm of the pump of the amplifier of steering.

Dismantling

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the soaking-up pipe and a sealing ring from the pump.
  1. Turn out four bolts and remove a back cover with laying and pins.
  2. Remove a statorny ring.
  3. Remove a rotor and blades.
  4. Remove a forward side plate.
  5. Remove internal and external sealing rings.
  6. Remove a spring.

At assembly it is necessary to use new laying and a sealing ring.

  1. Fix a pulley in a vice, turn off a nut of fastening of a pulley and remove a spring washer.
  1. Remove a pulley and a segment spline.
  1. Using special flat-nose pliers, remove a lock ring and the expansion plug.
  1. Squeeze out a pulley shaft with the bearing. If necessary use the kapron hammer.
  1. Remove a sealing ring from a pump housing.

At assembly it is necessary to use a new sealing ring.

  1. Disconnect the socket from the case of the oil pump and remove the valve and a spring.
  2. Remove a sealing ring from a connector.

You do not make dismantling of the control valve.

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Measure length of a spring of the control valve in a free state. Spring length in a free state: 36,5 mm.
  2. Make sure that the control valve is not bent.
  3. Check a shaft for lack of wear and damages.
  4. Check a driving belt for lack of wear and loss of properties.
  5. Check grooves of a rotor and the blade for lack of wear.
  6. Check a contact surface of a statorny ring and blades for lack of wear.
  7. Check blades for absence of damage.
  8. Check a side plate and the surface of contact of a shaft and a cover of the pump for lack of wear.

Assembly

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Establish a spring of the control valve, the valve and a connector in a pump housing.
  1. Establish by the special tool 09222-32100 oil consolidation in a pump housing.
  1. Softly insert assembly of a shaft and install the expansion plug and a lock ring.
  1. Establish a pump pulley with a segment spline.
  1. Establish a spring and an internal sealing ring.
  1. Establish an external sealing ring in a side plate and establish a forward side plate.
  1. Insert pins into deepenings of the forward case, then establish a statorny ring, paying attention to the direction of its installation.
  1. Establish a rotor so that tags on a rotor settled down from outside, an opposite forward part of the case.
  1. Install blades by the rounded-off parts outside.
  1. Establish laying and a cover of the pump.
  2. Establish the soaking-up pipe and a sealing ring.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Install the pump on an arm, put on a driving belt pulleys and tighten a bolt of adjustment of a tension of a belt. Inhaling moment: 3,5–10 N • m.
  1. Install the soaking-up filter.
  2. Connect a pressure head hose to the pump.

Establish a pressure head hose so that it was not overwound and did not make contact with any other parts.

  1. Fill in liquid. The recommended liquid: PSF–3.
  2. Pump over the hydraulic drive of the amplifier of steering.
  3. Check pressure created by the pump.
