- The special tool disconnect a tip of steering draft and the hinge.

- Several times shake here and there a pin of the spherical hinge of a tip of steering draft.
|

- Screw two nuts on a pin of the spherical hinge and measure torque. Torque: 0,5–2,5 N • m.
|
- If the torque exceeds admissible values, replace a tip of steering draft.
- If the torque is much lower than admissible value, the spherical hinge can be reused if it is not got jammed and has no excessive side play.
