14:10. Pumping of hydraulic system of the amplifier of steering

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Fill in the recommended liquid in a tank of the amplifier of steering to a tag "MOVE".
  2. Lift forward wheels.
  3. Disconnect a high-voltage wire from the ignition coil. Periodically include a starter on 15-20 with and at the same time 5–6 times turn a steering wheel from an emphasis against the stop.
  1. In the course of pumping constantly add liquid that its level in a tank did not fall below a filter installation site.
  2. If to execute pumping when the bent shaft of the engine does not rotate, air will be dissolved in liquid again.
  1. Connect a high-voltage wire to the ignition coil, launch the engine and leave it to work at idling rotation frequency.
  2. Turn a steering wheel from an emphasis against the stop several times. Check that liquid does not foam and its level did not go down.

To exclude damages, do not hold the steering wheel turned against the stop within more than 10 seconds.

  1. Check that liquid has no dairy color and its level is between tags of "MIN" and "MAX" on a tank.
  2. Check that there is a little change of level of liquid at turn of a steering wheel in the left and right parties.
  1. If the level of liquid changes more than 5 mm, repeat pumping of hydraulic system of the amplifier of steering.
  2. If the level of liquid increases suddenly after an engine stop, so in system still there is an air.
  3. If in the hydraulic drive of the amplifier of steering there is an air, during the operation of the pump extraneous noise will be heard. Air in system will reduce a resource of operation of the pump and other parts.
