11:30. Installation of the device of blocking of a key

It is expected that the key from the lock of ignition cannot be removed from the lock cylinder to a blocking cable detachment from the lock. For an exception of these problems at repair and service implement the following recommendations.

  1. Assembly of a cable of blocking and lock of ignition
    1. The lock of ignition is put on a steering column. Turn a key in the ignition lock in the provision of blocking of "LOCK".
    2. The screw connect a cable of blocking and the lock of ignition.
  1. Assembly of a cable of blocking and lever of gear shifting
    1. Install the selector lever in situation "P".

    b. After installation of a cable of blocking, as shown in the drawing, weaken a nut of M8 of fastening of a plate of a cable of blocking so that the plate could be turned after applying of a certain effort.

    c. Turning a plate with the fixed cable in the direction of "F", eliminate sagging of a cable in a point of "B". At elimination of sagging do not pull a cable in the X direction as at the same time the key can not go out of the ignition lock cylinder.
    d. Tighten a nut of M8 of fastening of a cable of blocking.
