5.1.15. Sensor of a detonation (KS)

The detonation sensor installed on the block of cylinders reacts to high-frequency fluctuations of the block of cylinders and transforms them to electric signals which size increases at increase in a detonation. On the basis of these signals the ESM block displaces the ignition moment towards delay therefore the detonation is eliminated.

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the socket from the sensor of a detonation and measure resistance between socket plugs 1 and 2. Resistance: more than 5 megohms at 20 °C.
  1. If resistance differs from provided in the specification, replace the sensor. Inhaling moment: 16–25 N • m.
  2. Measure capacity between socket plugs 1 and 2. Capacity: 800–1600 пф.
