Prednatyazhitel of a seat belt

When the car has an accident under a certain corner in relation to frontal blow, the gas generator ignites a signal from the SRSCM block.

The gas which is coming out a gas generator will cause movement of the piston in the cylinder with the tooth gearing of a prednatyazhitel.
The tooth gearing rotates a piston gear wheel, and the satellite rotates planetary gear wheels.

As a result of it the belt stretches due to rotation of the drum. Therefore, the belt with a prednatyazhitel reduces weight of traumatizing the driver and forward passenger at the expense of a preliminary tension of a belt. It interferes with movement of the driver and forward passenger forward and excludes blow about a steering wheel or the dashboard.

The loading limiter from seat belts

The limiter of loading is intended for reduction of force of blow of the driver and the forward passenger about the fastened seat belts during collision. If force of collision reaches some size, the torsion of previously tense seat belts is deformed and slightly releases a seat belt, reducing blow force.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the rechargeable battery.

Before service of system of safety cushions be convinced that not less than 30 passed from later switching off of ignition and a detachment of a wire from the negative plug of the rechargeable battery.

  1. Turn out screws of fastening of an overlay of a threshold.
  1. Turn out a bolt of the lower fastening of a forward seat belt and an edge of the flat screw-driver lift up and remove an upholstery of an average rack.
  1. Turn out a bolt of the top fastening of a forward seat belt.
  1. Turn out a bolt of fastening of a natyazhitel of a forward seat belt and take off a belt from the car.

  1. Do not sort and do not repair the module of a prednatyazhitel of a seat belt.
  2. Do not drop the module of a prednatyazhitel of a seat belt and do not allow its contact with water, lubricant, etc. If dents, cracks, deformation or corrosion are found, replace the module.
  3. Do not subject the module of a prednatyazhitel of a seat belt to influence of temperatures above 93 °C.
  4. The module of a prednatyazhitel of a seat belt works only once.
  5. At utilization of the worked module use goggles and gloves.
