18:19. Screen wiper and windscreen washer of a windshield
Removal

|
|
- Uncover and turn out nuts of fastening of levers of a screen wiper. Remove screen wiper levers.
|
|
|
At removal of levers of screen wipers do not scratch a cowl. |
|
|
- Uncover, located under a windshield.
|
|
|
- Disconnect the socket and remove the engine and drafts of a screen wiper. Inhaling moment: 7–11 N • m.
|
|
|
Installation
|
|
|
|
- Install the screen wiper lever in a certain situation.

- Adjust nozzles of sprays so that they sprayed liquid to strictly certain places on a windshield.
|
|
|
Check
|
|
Check conductivity between contacts of the socket of the switch of a cleaner and washer of a windshield. If conductivity does not correspond to demanded, replace the switch of a cleaner and washer of a windshield.

Check of frequency of work of a screen wiper

|
- Disconnect the socket from the screen wiper engine.
- Additional wires connect the positive plug of the rechargeable battery to the plug 4 sockets, and the negative plug – to the plug 1.
- Make sure that the engine of a screen wiper works at the low frequency of rotation.
- Additional wires connect the positive plug of the rechargeable battery to the plug 4 sockets, and the negative plug – to the plug 2.

- Make sure that the engine of a screen wiper works at the high frequency of rotation.
|
|
|
Check of an automatic stop of brushes in an initial state
|
|
- Turn on the engine at a low frequency of rotation.
- Having disconnected a wire from the plug 3 sockets, stop the engine in any situation, except initial.
- Connect socket plugs 1 and 5.
- Additional wires connect the positive plug of the rechargeable battery to the plug 4 sockets, and the negative plug – to the plug 3.

- Check that the engine of a screen wiper is switched off in a starting position of brushes of a screen wiper.
|

Check of operation of the engine of windscreen washer
|
|
- With the windscreen washer engine connected to a washer reservoir fill a windscreen washer tank with water.
- Additional wires connect the positive plug of the rechargeable battery to the plug 2 sockets, and the negative plug – to the plug 1, at the same time the engine has to work, and the pump to pump water.
