13.3. Lower lever of a forward suspension bracket

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a forward wheel.
  1. Get the forelock from a power shaft, turn off a nut and remove a washer of fastening of a shaft to a nave of a forward wheel.
  1. Weaken a nut of fastening of the spherical hinge of the lower lever, but do not turn out it completely.
  2. Turn out two bolts of fastening of the lower part of a rack to a rotary fist.
  3. Removing outside a rotary fist, get a power shaft from a nave.
  1. Stripper 09568–34000 squeeze out a pin of the spherical hinge from a rotary fist.
  1. Temporarily establish the lower bolt of fastening of a rack of a forward suspension bracket.
  2. Turn out a nut of fastening of draft of the stabilizer.
  3. Turn out bolts of fastening of the plug (A) and (G) of the lower lever.
  4. Remove the lower lever.

Dismantling

Replacement of the spherical hinge and dustproof cover

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Edge of the screw-driver remove a dustproof cover from the spherical hinge of the lower lever.
  1. Remove a spring ring.
  1. The kapron hammer separate the spherical hinge from the lower lever.
  1. The special tool 09545-11000 press the new spherical hinge in the lower lever.
  1. Establish a spring ring.
  1. – 21100 establish by the special tool 09545 a dustproof cover.

Replacement of the plug (G) of the lower lever

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Install special tools 09545-02000, 09216-21200 and 09216-21200 on the lower lever.
  1. Remove the plug.
  1. Grease with soap solution the following details:
    – external surface of the new plug;
    – internal surface of fastening of the plug of the lower lever.
  2. Install by the special tool 09216-21100, 09624-34000 the new plug on the lower lever.

Press the plug (G) so that it was in the situation shown in the drawing.

After installation of the plug erase soap solution. Effort of a press fitting: 80 N.

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check the plug for lack of wear and deterioration in its state.
  1. Check the lower lever for lack of a bend or damages.
  2. Check a protective cover of the spherical hinge for lack of cracks.
  3. Check a condition of all bolts.
  1. Check torque which needs to be put for a provorachivaniye of a pin of the spherical hinge of the lower lever.

• If there are cracks in a protective cover, replace the spherical hinge.
• Several times shake here and there a pin of the spherical hinge of the lower lever.
• Measure the torque necessary for a provorachivaniye of a pin of the spherical hinge of the lower lever.
Torque: 3,5–10 N • m
• If the torque exceeds admissible values, replace the spherical hinge.
• If the torque is much lower than admissible value, the spherical hinge can be reused if it is not got jammed and has no excessive side play.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. First of all install the plug (G) of the lower lever and fix it by bolts, having tightened them by hand.
  2. At the same time insert a power shaft into a nave.
  3. Install draft of the stabilizer in the lower lever, however do not tighten finally самоконтрящуюся a draft fastening nut.
  4. For installation of the plug (A) of the lower lever press a brake disk and a nave of a forward wheel.
  5. Tighten a bolt of fastening of the plug (A) of the lower lever.
  6. Finally bolt of fastening of the plug (G) of the lower lever.
  1. Record draft of the stabilizer a wrench with an open pharynx on 14 mm and screw самоконтрящуюся a nut.
  1. Establish a washer, screw a koronchaty nut of fastening of a power shaft and record it the forelock.
  2. Establish a wheel.
