Removal

- Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the rechargeable battery. Merge cooling liquid in a suitable container and disconnect a hose from the union of an input of cooling liquid of the water pump.
- Take off poliklinovy a belt and a pulley of the water pump.
- Remove casings of a gear belt and a roller of a tension of a gear belt.
- Turn out bolts of fastening of the water pump, then remove a generator support.
- Remove the water pump from the block of cylinders.

Check

|
- Check each detail for lack of cracks, damages or wear and if necessary replace the pump assembled.
|
- Turn a shaft of the water pump and check smoothness of rotation in the absence of noise.
- Check lack of leak of cooling liquid from the pump. If there is a leak from an opening With, consolidation of the pump is faulty. If necessary, replace the water pump.

Installation

- Clear the surface of consolidation of the water pump of the remains of laying and alien material.
|
|
- Install new laying on the water pump, install the pump and fix it by bolts. Inhaling moment: 20–27 N • m.
|
- Establish a roller of a tension of a gear belt and adjust a belt tension.
- Establish casings of a gear belt.
- Establish a pulley of the water pump and poliklinovy a belt, then adjust a belt tension.
- Fill in necessary amount of the required cooling liquid in the cooling system.
- Connect a wire to the negative plug of the rechargeable battery. Launch the engine and check lack of leaks from the cooling system.

- Establish a new sealing ring of round section in a flute at a forward end face of a tube of the cooling system and moisten a ring with cooling liquid. Do not use engine oil or lubricant.

- Install new laying on the water pump, install the pump and fix it by bolts. Inhaling moment: 10 mm: 10–12 N • m of 14 mm: 48–52 N • m.
|
- Install the mechanism of a tension of a gear belt and a gear belt. Adjust a tension of a gear belt, then establish casings of a gear belt.
- Fill in necessary amount of the required cooling liquid in the cooling system.
- Connect a wire to the negative plug of the rechargeable battery. Launch the engine and check lack of leaks from the cooling system.
