3.8. Oil heater of diesel engines

The oil heater of diesel engines is located in the basis of an oil filter and transfers warmly heated engine oil of cooling liquid.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove an oil filter.
  2. Disconnect cooling system hoses from the oil heater.
  3. Turn out a carving adapter of an oil filter.
  4. Remove the oil heater from the oil pump.

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check the oil heater for lack of leaks.
  2. Check the oil heater for absence of damage.
