3.7. Oil pump of diesel engines
Removal
Remove internal and external gear wheels of the oil pump from a forward cover, previously having noted their mutual situation.
Check
- Check lack of wear or damage of teeths of gear wheels of the oil pump.
- Check an axial gap of rotors of the oil pump. Axial gap: 0,02–0,07 mm.
- Measure by the probe a gap between teeths of rotors of the oil pump. A gap between teeths of rotors of the oil pump: 0,1 – 0,2 mm.
- Check a radial gap of rotors of the oil pump.
Plunger and spring
- Check smoothness of movement of a plunger.
- Check a spring for lack of deformation or damages.
Check of the sensor of pressure of oil
- Ohmmeter check conductivity of connection between the plug of the sensor and the block of cylinders. In the absence of conductivity, replace the sensor.
- Ohmmeter check conductivity of connection between the plug of the sensor and the block of cylinders at the put-forward sensor rod. If conductivity is available even at the put-forward rod, replace the sensor.
- However, if there is no conductivity even at the annex of vacuum of 50 kPa to a sensor opening, the sensor works properly.
Check of a spray of oil
- Check a spray of oil and the control valve for lack of contaminations.
- Check an oil spray for absence of damage and deformations.
Installation
- Establish an external rotor of the oil pump in a forward cover, previously having combined the tags put earlier.
Before installation of a rotor oil it engine. |
- Using the special tool, screw the oil pressure sensor, previously having greased a sensor carving with a sealant layer.
Do not delay pressure sensor with application of the big moment of an inhaling. |
