3.3. Replacement of engine oil

When replacing engine oil be careful as oil hotter and it is possible to get burns.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Warm up the engine up to the normal working temperature and switch off it.
  2. Stop the engine.
  1. Uncover an oil-filling mouth and turn out a stopper of discharge of oil from the oil pallet. Wait until all oil flows down from the oil pallet.
  1. Screw a stopper of discharge of oil with new laying. Inhaling moments: 35–45 N • m.
  2. Fill in necessary amount of the required engine oil in the engine.

Volume of engine oil:

L engines 2,0 / 1,8

Without replacement of an oil filter: 3,5 l
With replacement of an oil filter: 3,7 l

Engine of 1,6 l

Without replacement of an oil filter: 3,0 l
With replacement of an oil filter: 3,3 l

Diesel engine of 2,0 l

Without replacement of an oil filter: 5,4 l
Oil filter: 0,5 l
With replacement of an oil filter: 5,9 l

Do not pour oil as it will lead to foaming of oil and reduction of pressure in the lubrication system.

  1. Establish a cover on an oil-filling mouth.
  2. Launch the engine and check lack of leak of oil.
  3. Check the level of engine oil and, if necessary, bring it to norm.
