12.6. Back axis / nave of a back wheel

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Weaken nuts of fastening of a back wheel.
  2. Lift the car and fix on support.
  3. Turn off nuts and remove a back wheel.
  4. The hammer and chisel remove a cap from a nave.
  5. Unbend a fillet, turn off a nut of fastening of a nave of a back wheel and remove a petal washer.
  6. Remove the ABS sensor.

At removal of the ABS sensor be careful not to strike a sensor tip in teeths of a rotor or other elements.
  1. Remove a support and fix it by a wire on a rack of a back suspension bracket.
  1. Remove a brake disk and a nave of a back wheel.
  1. Turn out the screw and remove a brake disk from a nave of a back wheel.
  • Needlessly do not remove the bearing from a nave of a back wheel.
  • Be careful not to damage or to scratch rotor teeths. Exclude falling of a rotor. If teeths of a rotor are damaged it will break operability of the anti-blocking brake system.

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check a sealing ring for lack of wear and damages.
  2. Check the hug bearing of a back wheel for lack of wear and damages.
  3. Check a rotor of the sensor of frequency of rotation of a back wheel for lack of a vykrashivaniye of teeths.
  4. Check a nave support for lack of cracks.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Screw a new nut with a fillet and hammer a nut fillet into a nave groove.
At installation it is necessary to use a new nut with a fillet.
  1. Install the ABS sensor. Insert the probe into a gap between the sensor and teeths of a rotor and tighten the sensor in situation in which the required gap is provided. ABS sensor gap: 0,2–1,3 mm.
  1. Establish a cap on a nave.
