9.4. Conducted and press clutch plates

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Merge oil from the transmission and brake fluid from the hydraulic drive of coupling.
  2. Remove the transmission.
  3. Establish a mandrel 09411–25000 for centering of a clutch plate which in this case will exclude falling of the conducted clutch plate.
  4. Gradually on diagonal weaken coupling fastening bolts assembled.
  1. Turn off each bolt on 1/2 turns until it is terminated a diaphragm spring, and bolts can be unscrewed manually. Remove a casing of coupling with a press disk and a clutch plate.

Do not clear solvent a clutch plate or the bearing of switching off of coupling.

It is desirable to remove a flywheel and to check a back sealing ring of a bent shaft for lack of leaks. If necessary, replace a sealing ring.

Check of a casing of coupling with a press disk

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check a diaphragm spring in places of contact with the bearing of switching off of coupling for lack of wear, cracks and define distinction of height of the ends of a diaphragm spring. With defects replace a casing of coupling with a press disk.
  2. Check press a disk for lack of cracks, a prigar and wear of a surface.
  3. Check reliability of rivet connections.

Check of a clutch plate

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check reliability of rivet connections of frictional slips to a clutch plate. With defects replace a clutch plate.
  1. Measure thickness of a brake disk.
  1. Check a condition of frictional overlays of a clutch plate and in the presence traces of oil or mechanical damages replace a clutch plate with them.
  2. Clear vents of a main shaft of the transmission and establish a clutch plate on a shaft. If the clutch plate moves on a shaft hardly or too big gap in shlitsevy connection, replace a clutch plate and / or an entrance shaft.

Check of the bearing of switching off of coupling

The bearing of switching off of coupling is tight, and it cannot be washed out.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check a condition of the bearing of switching off of coupling which has to rotate easily, evenly and silently and in it there has to be no side play. The working surface of the bearing influencing a press spring has to be smooth, without cracks, local corrosion or development.
  2. The faulty bearing of switching off of coupling can be defined, without removing it from the car for what it is necessary to press a coupling pedal at the working engine. If when pressing a pedal of coupling additional noise appears, so the bearing of switching off of coupling is faulty, and it needs to be replaced.

Check of a fork of switching off of coupling

If there is an uneven wear in points of contact of a fork of switching off of coupling with the bearing, replace a coupling switching off fork.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Apply lubricant on the surfaces of contact of the bearing, cylinder and fork of switching off of coupling.
    Lubricant: MOLYWHITE TA No. 2.

At installation of coupling apply lubricant on all mobile connections of details, but do not use excessive amount of lubricant as it can lead to coupling pro-slipping.

  1. Establish a clutch plate and center it a special mandrel 09411–25000.
  1. Establish a casing of coupling with a press disk on the directing flywheel pins. Gradually, in the diagonal sequence and in a certain order, tighten bolts of fastening of a flywheel. Inhaling moment: 15–22 N • m.
  1. Connect the bearing to a fork of switching off of coupling and install it on the casing plug.

Apply a thin film of MOLYWHITE TA lubricant No. 2 on a groove of the basic plug and a point of contact of a fork of switching off of coupling.

  1. Install squeezing the lever on a coupling switching off fork.

If the transmission is fixed on the engine, do not carry out this step as the bearing of switching off of coupling can be disconnected in spite of the fact that the fork of switching off of coupling turns freely.

  1. Install the transmission.
  1. After performance of the actions given in a step 6 press squeezing the lever in the direction of an arrow and be convinced that the bearing of switching off of coupling and a casing are correctly connected. The angle of rotation of the squeezing lever has to be no more than 3 °. If an angle of rotation of the squeezing lever more than 3 °, so the bearing of switching off of coupling and a casing are connected incorrectly.
